Stone Plans corporate headquarters, located in Richmond, Indiana announced today that Stone Plans is honored to create a unique memorial tribute to The King of Pop - Michael Jackson

 

Stone Plans Monument Company has designed an eternal tribute granite memorial for Michael Jackson.  The monument is made of high quality premium black granite from Stone Plans own quarry. This larger than life 8 ft x 5 ft, five thousand pound monument features Jackson’s signature moon walk on the front and biography with collage of his pictures on the back.

 

This memorial was designed, manufactured, engraved at Stone Plans corporate facility in Richmond IN with in a short 48 hour time period. Stone Plans has a 60,000 square feet memorial facility which is also known as the home of the nation’s largest memorial display in Richmond, IN.  According to Roberta Snow, this is the only facility in the state where an elaborate memorial of this magnitude can be done in such a short notice.

The Monument is scheduled to be unveiled by Mayor Rudolph Clay of Gary, Indiana and Joe Jackson, father of Michael Jackson on Friday, July 10, 2009. The monument will be dedicated during the Michael Jackson Memorial Service, scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm, at the Steelyard Baseball Stadium in Gary IN.
